coffee and care

I wanted to follow through with one more event before I do my usual hibernation through November and December. That feeling is coming sooner and sooner. You know....can't plan anything until "after the holidays"? I came away happy for having done it. Publik offers a really great space and I didn't have to make tea and cookies! Having a long lost friend and surprise family show up just made my day. Shout out to my coach/first born who was by my side to do the heavy lifting and promo I hadn't thought of. If there hadn't been a hastily designed "free art class" sign downstairs, we would have not met new friends who came up and designed some bags for "soft landings". Gave me an idea for "tinder coffee and crafts" (they knew each other from college but still..tinder is fun in any title!)

I'm going to be fine with the "after the holidays" thing this year because solo time is usually a learning time.

BUT....through the rest of the year, I'll be showing up at coffee shops with just one suitcase. The one that says "free art". Makers and Givers is a recurring theme. And what better place to open up conversation and crafting, coffee and caring?
