About
Paint and stitch your own star in this Maker Meet Up designed to get you in touch with your unique light. From beginning painters and stitchers to advanced to somewhere in between, there is something for you as you start where you are.
We begin with a self exploration - journal jam style. Move on to a rough draft drawing and then a final design to transfer to canvas.
At last, we paint, we stitch, we add "flair" as desired.
This becomes a "take-along" to complete at home as you'd like. Some makers will choose to hang their star, some stuff it into a pillow, stitch it onto a bag or a pillow.
You get to choose where to start and where to finish.
My job is to encourage you to try as many things as you'd like and find your own jam.
I'll be there to teach design techniques, paint strokes and thread stitches.
