It is said to be the person you wish you had (when you were younger but any age applies.) Then there is the "build it and they will come". Creating Wild Way  Wellness, I'm multi-tasking with the tools I've built, the lessons I've learned and the innate care that I've been graced with over the many years I've been in this body, with these people and on this earth. Creativity is the top of my gratitude list. I don't know how I'd come through my fires or help others come through their own fires had I not found the gifts of expressive arts early on. If I hadn't delighted in mounds of paper and art tools or shut my bedroom door and pretend to be one of the Partridge Family, there is no telling where I'd be. I might have had to play sports or be good at math!

The adult me found peace in making art with my kids and other people's kids. The therapeutic benefits outweighed the voices saying "waste of time" and "I can't even draw a stick figure".

side note: time passes anyway, you might as well use it to make cooler things than stick figures..which are super freaking EASY!

So, here I am in this incarnation of Tori Finding Ways to Care for and about myself, my community and my world.

Why care? Because apathy is boring.

My goals for Wild Way Wellness are to make creative work feel like play, to make art accessible in all the ways it might not feel like it is and to (literally) make the world a brighter place.

As a born shit twister, I also use my creativity for subliminal messaging. I've come to the place after 65 years where subliminal doesn't work for me anymore. Living creativity OUT LOUD and PROUD is what's up.
